Ellyn Hae – Principal Bubblelogist

Ellyn is President of Recycling by Nature. Operating since 1990, the company provides environmental education and entertainment to public and private clients. With the advent of the new millennium, Ellyn decided to expand her highly successful recycling career and become an actor. Ellyn joined up with Arimaw Productions early on as a jilted bride, french chef and other outrageous roles, conjured up by Michael Wulfhart for various organizations. Since then, she has created shows for Arimaw Productions, directed theater in schools, and developed performance based environmental science classes. Favorite traditional theater credits include Sound of Music(Frau Schmidt/Nun at the Lawrence Welk Resort), Wizard of Oz (Glinda/Auntie Em at Kit Carson Park), ensemble acting with the Mystery Café and San Diego Actor’s Theater, and playing Edith Piaf in a two person show at the wacky Theatrx theater in Escondido. Now she spends her part of the year touring the country with her partner John Berthe as a two-person bubble show, The Bubble Show. The remainder of their time is spent in Mexico gardening, or consulting on various projects to increase recycling.

John Berthe – Principal Bubblelogist

A commensurate ham, public speaker, and blogger, John has been in the public eye for over 30 years. He was born to the stage. John began his performance career only recently as a costumed chicken. It’s hot in those suits and all his peers were teenagers so he moved to more challenging roles which include a bumbling body guard for Arimaw Productions, Captain Zoolittle at the San Diego Zoo, and a retired rock star on the fair circuit. John is an extreme athlete, surfing large waves, and an endurance cycling athlete. He does all his own stunts. He hopes that Bubble Madness will give him his big break – the chance to play James Bond on the big screen.

Michael Wulffhart – Artistic Director

Michael conceived Bubble Madness and has developed more than 200 other family-based environmental and educationally based shows for large venues in this 30 year entertainment career.
Michael began his theatrical career performing mime and magic on some of the most famous streets in the world, including Covent Gardens, London, Jaffa, Israel, Hilbrow, South Africa and San Francisco's Pier 39. Mr. Wulffhart made his American debut 23 years ago in "Jukebox Music to Live By" with Danny Glover. He has performed the Tony Award-winning American Conservatory Theater, San Francisco Mime Troupe, Magic Theater and served as Artistic Director of Columbia Actors' Rep, Mystery Cafe and the Improv Comedy Clubs. Mr. Wulffhart's projects have taken him to New York, Washington, DC, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Orange County, Palm Springs, Dallas, Houston, Alexandria, Virginia, Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Toronto and San Diego. In addition to his stage work, Mr. Wulffhart formed ARIMAW Productions an award-winning entertainment and educational consulting company.
